Tema oil Refinery and the National Petroleum Authority Inspectorate Directorate has ended a seven (7) working day scheduled statutory inspection, in accordance with the Authority’s Act 2005, Act 691, at the premises of the refinery in Tema.
The purpose of the inspection was to assess the refinery’s condition with respect to safety, availability, and reliability.
The exercise also focused on compliance, adequacy and robustness of operations and asset integrity management systems, with the aim of ensuring the sound, sustainable performance and operations of the refinery installations, to guarantee continuous and efficient petroleum service delivery.
