We welcome the assurance from the Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy, Hon. Herbert Krapa, of government’s support to resuscitate the operations of TOR.
The revival of TOR is much needed to operationalize the processing units and its related auxiliaries, revamp and expand the capacity of the processing facilities, ensure quality and continuous petroleum products supply to the local market and, ultimately, turn the fortunes of the refinery around before the end of the year.
The process of selecting a strategic partner to help revamp TOR has already begun.
