Dr. Yussif Sulemana, the newly appointed Managing Director of TOR, has pledged to work towards revitalizing the refinery operations and sweating the assets to enhance operational efficiency and to bolster productivity and company growth.
The strategic vision, shared with staff during a recent durbar, seeks to utilize the refinery’s strengths, address challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities. At the core of his plan is a commitment to operational excellence, propelled by a renewed sense of purpose, efficiency, and a culture emphasizing safety, collaboration and innovation.
The Deputy Managing Director, in his message to staff members, reiterated the MD’s vision of positioning TOR for sustained growth and profitability through process optimization. He underscored the significance of transparency, open communication and collaboration were key in achieving success.
The durbar was an opportunity for staff members to meet the new MD and DMD, interact with the new leadership, ask questions, voice their concerns and have their ideas and suggestions heard.
