Human Resource & Administration

There are five (5) departments and sections under this division, namely Human Resources, Training & Development, Information Management, Estates, and General Services.

Human Resource

The Human Resource Department is responsible for managing the human resources of the company and adopts a strategic approach to employee development through a careful process of selection, orientation, and motivation of employees.

Training and Development

The Learning and Development (L&D) department coordinates third-party training in line with the overall corporate strategy. The department takes care of the development of all staff from onboarding till exit on retirement or resignation. The L&D department assists various divisions and departments in identifying staff training needs and champions the Company`s strategy of ensuring the right human capital availability. This is done by designing and developing training intervention programs to ensure the availability of the right personnel mix at all times and developing a training framework/program for staff taking up managerial positions, in collaboration with other Heads of departments (HoDs).

It also crafts and/or coordinates through consultation, staff training interventions including in-house and external (either in-country or out-country) training/development programs, workshops and annual conferences. It again ensures employees nominated to attend such programs meet all requirements. The department coordinates departmental and divisional SOPs reviews and updates, and leads in the recruitment, development and managing TOR internal facilitators.

Information Management

The Information Management Section is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Company’s records/ documents to ensure that one has easy and timely access to information.

General Services

Estates

The Estate Section of the General Services is responsible for the management and maintenance of all landed properties of the Company. These include properties owned and rented by the Company.

Transport

The Transport Section is responsible for the conveyance of workers (both straight day and shifters) to and from work.

Contract Services

The General Service Department engages contractors to provide services including canteen, office equipment, leasing, telecommunications, and water supply.
