The department provides appropriate and timely legal advice on all transactions of the company to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements affecting the operations of TOR.
The department is responsible for developing strategic communications that are planned and sustained to accomplish the following: enhance the image of the company, establish mutually beneficial relationships between the organization and its public, explain the operations of the organization to the public, develop and maintain excellent relations with the media, advise management on issues and also develop and implement the corporate social responsibility programs.
Community involvement is one of our corporate social responsibilities. We believe in interdependence and are therefore committed to helping the communities in which we operate. We try to improve the livelihood of the communities by donating towards education, health, and community development projects.
The Procurement Department is mandated to buy goods, services, works and consultancy by legal means and through authorisations prescribed by TOR Procurement policy.
